FR_Le projet consiste en la reconstruction d’une maison unifamiliale à Rebecq, sur une parcelle étroite marquée par les vestiges d’un ancien bâti. L’intervention s’inscrit dans l’empreinte existante tout en réinventant un cadre de vie lumineux, intime et traversant. Au cœur du dispositif, un patio entièrement vitré structure les espaces du rez-de-chaussée, efface les limites entre intérieur et extérieur et apporte une lumière naturelle généreuse. Les fonctions de jour se développent en continuité autour de ce vide central, tandis que les espaces de nuit occupent l’étage, chacun doté de sa salle d’eau. Une pièce polyvalente au bel-étage peut se transformer en chambre supplémentaire. L’architecture privilégie la compacité qualitative, l’intimité vis-à-vis de la rue grâce à des moucharabiehs, et une matérialité cohérente en briquettes brunes et aluminium. Le projet intègre également des dispositifs durables tels que la récupération d’eau de pluie, une ventilation performante et une toiture végétalisée.

EN_The project involves the reconstruction of a single-family house in Rebecq, on a narrow plot marked by the remnants of a former building. The intervention follows the footprint of the existing structure while reinventing a bright, intimate, and fluid living environment. At the heart of the design, a fully glazed patio organizes the ground-floor spaces, blurs the boundaries between inside and outside, and brings generous natural light into the home. The daytime functions unfold seamlessly around this central void, while the night spaces occupy the upper floor, each with its own shower room. A versatile room on the mezzanine level can be converted into an additional bedroom. The architecture favors qualitative compactness, privacy from the street through the use of moucharabiehs, and a coherent material palette of brown brick slips and aluminium. The project also integrates sustainable features such as rainwater harvesting, high-performance ventilation, and a green roof.
