FR oPla a remporté ce concours en collaboration avec Bedeleem et a mis en place des solutions pratiques dès la phase de conception. Le rez-de-chaussée et le sous-sol du bâtiment UNO, situé à Bruxelles, ont été repensés de manière écologique et dans la logique de l’économie circulaire.
Le projet offre des fonctions optimales à hub.brussels, l'agence bruxelloise d'aide aux entreprises.
Divers espaces dont l’accueil, la salle d’attente, salles de réunion, cafétéria, coin copie et café, sanitaires, etc. ont été entièrement rénovés. Dès le démantèlement, l'empreinte écologique a été limitée au maximum :

Les matériaux et composants démontés ont été réutilisés soit sur site, soit sur d'autres chantiers ou mis à la disposition d'autres acteurs. De cette façon, les déchets ont été minimisés et recyclés de manière optimale.
La pièce maîtresse de ce projet est le tout nouvel escalier de plus de 4 mètres de haut, composé à 100 % de matériaux recyclés et réaliser par MCB atelier

EN oPla won this competition in collaboration with Bedeleem and implemented practical solutions already in the design phase. The ground floor and basement of the UNO building in Brussels have been redesigned in an environmentally friendly and circular economy way.
The project offers optimal functions for hub.brussels, the Brussels business support agency.
Various spaces, including the reception, waiting room, meeting rooms, cafeteria, copy and coffee corner, sanitary facilities, etc., have been completely renovated. The ecological footprint was kept to a minimum during dismantling:
Dismantled materials and components were reused either on site, on other building sites or made available to other actors. In this way, waste was minimised and recycled in an optimal way.
The masterpiece of this project is the brand new, more than 4-metre high staircase, made of 100% recycled materials and produced by MCB atelier.
