FR_Le projet s’implante au cœur d’un petit bois à Chaumont-Gistoux, en tirant parti du relief naturel et de la végétation existante pour offrir un cadre de vie intime et qualitatif. L’architecture s’organise autour d’un grand chêne conservé, véritable pivot du projet, afin de limiter les déblais et préserver l’identité du site. Le volume principal, compact et énergétiquement optimisé, se prolonge par une aile basse qui structure les espaces extérieurs et articule les zones de vie et de nuit. Les grandes baies vitrées effacent la frontière entre intérieur et paysage, offrant lumière, vues et continuité spatiale. Les accès sont pensés de manière progressive, depuis la voirie jusqu’aux espaces les plus privés. Les matériaux naturels, les toitures végétalisées et les dispositifs durables (PAC, photovoltaïque, VMC double flux) renforcent l’intégration environnementale du projet. L’ensemble compose une habitation contemporaine, discrète et chaleureuse, qui dialogue avec le bois et valorise son caractère unique.
EN_The project is set within a small woodland in Chaumont-Gistoux, making full use of the natural topography and existing vegetation to create an intimate and high?quality living environment. The architecture is organized around a preserved mature oak tree, which becomes the central anchor of the design while minimizing earthworks and maintaining the site’s identity. The compact, energy?efficient main volume extends into a low wing that structures the outdoor spaces and articulates the day? and night?time functions. Large glazed openings blur the boundary between interior and landscape, bringing light, views, and spatial continuity. Circulation is designed as a gradual transition from the public realm to the most private areas. Natural materials, green roofs, and sustainable systems (heat pump, photovoltaic panels, double?flow ventilation) reinforce the project’s environmental integration. The result is a contemporary, discreet, and warm home that dialogues with the woodland and enhances its unique character.
