EN oPla is an architecture studio founded in 2011 by three Belgian and Portuguese partners.
Based at the heart of RecyK, the circular platform of Bruxelles-Propreté, the office develops a practice that connects architecture, fabrication, materiality, and circular economy.**

Our work explores the fundamental questions of architecture:
space, form, use, matter, light, shadow, fabrication.

For several years, we have been experimenting with strategies of **reuse**, **reversibility**, and the reactivation of existing buildings.

These concerns are reflected in projects such as:
• the development of the RecyK platform,
• cityfab1 at Greenbizz,
• the Bidules store (circular eyewear) next to Bozar,
• the reception spaces of hub.brussels on chaussée de Charleroi,
• and numerous housing, public facility, and transformation projects.

Our approach is **pragmatic, contextual, and collaborative**, attentive to available resources and to the real impact of each project.
